These times we’re going through are really rough, no one is immune to these changes our world is facing. Some of us are able to work from home, have kids who are not able to go back to school, having to cancel flights, events, moving, you name it. Our whole world has been flipped upside down. There are silver linings though, you just have to shift your perspective so that you can see it.
We are going through a tower moment. Since I’ve gotten into tarot, it has been my light guiding me on how to process the emotions, the challenges, the epiphanies, the self reflection that comes about, the hope I needed to help me solidify that I am on the right path. When the tower card comes out, it’s basically a tower crumbling down. The old ways have to crumble, so that we can rebuild something new from the ashes. The Universe will force you to change if you don’t do it on your own, hence the tower.
I had my own tower moment on Friday. I didn’t see this coming, even though I had seen how my company’s lenders started backing out. They laid off 20% of the company due to Covid19 and I was one of those people. At first, I was in shock. Once I talked to my boss, that’s when the tears came. She was also blindsided. Good thing is I’m rehirable, but all of this happening right when I was literally packing up my place to move, was a lot to take.
This is how I know that divine timing came into play. I still hadn’t signed my new lease yet at my new apartment. As of 1pm, they still hadn’t emailed it to me. I was starting to get worried because I had movers coming on Saturday morning. I found out at 2pm and I was able to cancel the movers, my notice from moving out of my place, my cable and energy from being transferred – all in the nick of time. Thankfully, I only had 3 boxes packed lol, so I had to unpack those.
I have severance coming in, my deposit from my new place coming back, unemployment and help from the government, so I’m gonna be okay in the next few months.
When I think about my actual job though, I wasn’t happy. I love doing sales and being in this customer support department was not my jam. I learned that I won’t ever make a decision to switch my career unless that’s what my heart wants. So I’m excited to start looking for work in sales again, once companies start hiring again.
Yesterday I saw a bunch of yellow butterflies; it was incredible. That was a message from Universe; joy, prosperity, abundance, and hope is on the horizon.
Now that I’ve had some time to myself, I see the silver lining. This will give me the opportunity to really figure out what I want to do. The world literally has been put on hold and I will take advantage of this time. This was divine timing because things hadn’t even fallen into place with my new apartment and I was able to cancel it all without having to pay any fines. If anything, money is coming to me now. Feeling immensely blessed.
So if y’all are going through something similar, things will fall into place. Keep being positive, stay gold and know that divine timing will always come through for you because the Universe has our back.
